Sourdough Bacon Muffins

Ingredients
- bacon - 3 slices, cooked & crumbled
- cheddar cheese - 1/4 cup, shredded
- all-purpose flour - 1 3/4 cups
- sugar - 1/4 cup
- baking powder - 2 1/2 teaspoons
- salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- egg - 1, beaten
- milk - 1/2 cup
- sourdough starter - 1/2 cup
- cooking oil - 1/3 cup
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Grease 1 standard muffin pan, or line with cupcake papers.
3. In bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
4. Make a well in the center.
5. In a small bowl, combine egg, milk, sourdough starter and oil.
6. Add egg mixture to well in dry mixture all at once.
7. Stir just until moistened.
8. Stir in bacon and cheese.
9. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full.
10. Bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes.
