Bacon Mac & Cheese Soup

You really don’t need me to explain or describe this, do you?

You CAN make this with regular Kraft Mac and Cheese, but it turns out much better, in our opinion, if you use the white cheddar.

Bacon Mac & Cheese Soup

1. In large pot, cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels.
2. Drain all but 1 tablespoon bacon drippings from the pot.
3. Cook and stir onion in drippings until crisp-tender, about 4 to 5 minutes.
4. Add macaroni, cheese sauce mix, and milk to the pot and bring to a boil.
5. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 minutes, stirring frequently.
6. Then add peas and Parmesan cheese; cook, stirring, until peas are hot and cheese is melted, about 4 minutes.
7. Top with bacon and serve.
